Ezurio Everywhere: Our Footprint Across Embedded World
This year’s Embedded World was a huge success for Ezurio, and we were very excited to show some of the results of our dramatic portfolio expansion and development in new hardware technologies and software solutions. From our own booth, as well as from booths of partners like NXP, Texas Instruments, Silicon Labs, and MediaTek, Ezurio’s footprint could be found in every corner of this year’s expo. The following video shows some of the highlights:
Ezurio Booth
In the Ezurio booth, we featured several exciting demonstrations including:
- Our HMI Solutions, running QtCardioCare on our Nitrogen8M Plus SMARC. This is a full graphics and touchscreen solution, enabling OEMs to easily add device display and touch control to their designs.
- A two-part demo featuring real-time face detection and Qt CardioCare running on our Tungsten700 SMARC. This shows the powerful capabilities of the Tungsten700 to drive two multimedia applications simultaneously on one device.
- Our new Veda SL917 line of SoC and NCP Wi-Fi 6 + BLE modules, which offer OEMs multiple design options, with development supported on our SoC Explorer Board as well as our NCP Click Board in partnership with MIKROE.
- Canvas Software Suite running on the Veda SL917, and a demonstration of how to connect to and configure the Veda SL917 from a smartphone. Canvas makes it extremely easy to write wireless applications in Python and to roll out software across desktop and mobile applications.
- We met up with Blecon to showcase our partnership in the form of our Ezurio BL54L15 Development Kit. The talk featured a Blecon-enabled BL54L15 module, the result of the combination of our Bluetooth hardware and Blecon’s firmware to create a complete BLE beaconing system.
Partner Booths
- The Texas Instruments booth advertised our Sona TI351 Wi-Fi 6+BLE module (featuring the TI CC3351), as well as our upcoming line of CarbonAM62 (TI AM62x) and CarbonAM67 (TI AM67x) OSM SOMs.
- The MediaTek booth featured two of our partners’ live demonstrations that featured Ezurio hardware at the core. Kynetics’ Embedded Android Development Kit was seen running on our Tungsten700 SMARC SOM. IT featured a keyboard and mouse input and driving a display panel to develop embedded applications on the Tungsten. Witekio’s EdgeAI Predictive Maintenance demonstration was also seen running on our Tungsten700. Featuring an open/close vent that was detectable inside an enclosure, the system depicts how live system information can be gathered and displayed in a dashboard to sense and alarm when conditions change in a device.
- The NXP booth featured our SMARC system-on-modules demo board, which showcases our Nitrogen8M Plus SMARC (based on the i.MX 8M Plus processor) connected to a display, as well as our Nitrogen93 (i.MX 93) and Nitrogen95 (i.MX 95) processor. It also highlights our ability to mix and match processors and wireless components, giving OEMs complete design flexibility and a future upgrade path for new processors and wireless.
- The Nordic Semiconductor booth featured our BL54 series of Bluetooth modules, based on the nRF L Series and nRF H Series chipsets from Nordic. Our BL54L10, BL54L15, BL54L15µ, and BL54H20 represent increasingly powerful pieces that feature the latest in Nordic’s popular line of Bluetooth chipsets.
- The Engicam booth featured their SmarCore MX95 SMARC module, proudly featuring Ezurio’s Sona TI351 Wi-Fi 6+BLE module. The Engicam module is designed for a wide range of edge applications from automotive connectivity to industry 4.0 and IoT platforms.
- The Densitron booth displayed an HMI application for full patient monitoring in medical applications. Their demo featured QtCare running on an Ezurio Industrial HMI unit, powered by the Nitrogen8M Plus SMARC. This demo showed real time data incoming for a simulated patient in a interactive high resolution display.
