Industrial design students Anna Haupt and Terese Alstin in Lund, Sweden began to question if a better cycling helmet was possible. They wanted a helmet that provided the best of both worlds: better aesthetics and less obstructive to wear, while also providing unparalleled protection. This led to a breakthrough: the best helmet possible wasn’t even a helmet at all; it was an airbag.
