The road to a successful wireless product is paved with potential pitfalls and even roadblocks. Most can be discovered at an early stage of the design process, when it’s easiest and cheapest to fix. Other issues tend to appear at a later stage where the mitigation can be costly. Some might even pop up only after the product is in the field, leading to immense costs – especially when high quantities are involved.
However, with the benefit of having familiarity with the process and the kinds of issues that commonly occur, expert designers can make the decisions early on to keep a project on track.
