Answer
The BT900 has +8dBm of output power maximum. This power is adjustable for BLE connections and can be limited to something less than +8dBm. However, there is not an associated command in the BT Classic side to arbitrarily limit the output power of the device. In BT Classic, the radios manage their output power and only transmit at the power needed to maintain the Link Quality. You cannot limit the output power of the BT900 in BT Classic mode.
